Each March the festival features 10 full length plays performed by groups from all over the country. At the end of each production, the adjudicator gives his public comments to the audience and talks to the cast in private afterwards. Clare Drama Festival is one of 36 preliminary festivals from all over Ireland affiliated to the Amateur Drama Council of Ireland.
